Rule 1: alcohol in coffee = 1 beverage.
Like the alcohol they serve has no water in it? If they serve alcohol that's been watered down with 60% water, why not serve it where it's been watered down with 80% coffee?
OTOH, given how rule-obsessed our society has gotten, you can't really blame the FAs too much.
