If you don't preassign your seat on AA, you may be in for a surprise... (a center seat in the back of the bus)

I fly a lot. I don't have time to ring up and preassign my seat every time I'm going to get on an aircraft, or if I make a change. I'm happy with getting 23A almost everytime I get on a 763, even if I bought my ticket the day before.
