I only went into The Boiler Room as a guest of a member, but it wasn't too happening as far as the crowd was concerned - no young vibrant types and not many foreigners at all....
However, the live performance was pretty good, (acceptable)

Live entertainment is difficult to find, and what Savage25 posted is what is considered to be the "standard" for Singapore.
