Hard to see how Marriott Rewards could get less rewarding (but I am sure it is possible). Might be a good motivation to spend more time at SPG
The funny thing is that the people on the SPG board are talking about switching to Marriott.
Bottom line is that ALL of the rewards programs are becoming less rewarding as time goes on.
