So this comment got me thinking.

It seems that the 29th is 'meat day' in Japan - I guess that will be the same every month.

4th June - mushiba no hi is 'tooth decay day'


So there must be others, but I've no idea how I'd find out about them.

Does anyone know of any more examples? Including local ones that might not be used elsewhere.
