Brilliant! Operative went this morning, collected last two remaining bottle of sauce (very small - just 60mls in each) and brought it back.

In order to sample it immedaitely, MrLapLap got sent out... again... a few doors down for a bag of chips/thick fries.

Two slices of home-made vaguely garlicky bread, some mayonnaise, a portion of chips and a liberal dousing of cholula went in to making the ultimate chip butty.

Cholula was everything I hopedit would be - not too fiery (a nice complex heat to warm the front half of my mouth), a full rounded flavour, very moorish and, important for me this, induced thirst (I can never seem to drink as much liquid as I'm supposed to) without being uncomfortable.

MrLapLap summed it up perfectly - he said the sauce made the chips taste like chicken (and nobody loves chicken more than MrLapLap).

Thanks to everyone for your help! Whilst this won't be a regular supplier, at least I'll have some whilst I casually search for a more dependable source.
