By removing the post counts access to that forum was lost by a lot of those people.
BUT, I could be wrong about that - it was a looong time ago.
I think we’re confusing two issues here.
The OP was inquiring as to why posts in CC do not count in the member’s post total.
The issue of requiring 90 posts and 90 days on FT to access CC is another subject.
Or am I confusing you with my confusing answer to this otherwise non-confusing thread??
