Even with a Receipt/Folio You Can't Get the Points

I've spent a lot of time also trying to get the 1000 points for dining with a platinum cert and also dining credit on a points stay to post. Countless e-mails, multiple faxing of the receipts/folio. One time I called GP and hung up after being on hold 15 minutes without being able to speak with anyone. I'm trying to get a platinum cert to post right now--spent 10 minutes with the front desk clerk when I originally turned it in (she was baffled so called GP), have sent 2 faxes with a copy of the receipt, numerous e-mails. 7 weeks later my most recent e-mail tells me to wait another 2 weeks then fax again if the points don't show up. From their actions, it would appear they're hoping you'll just give up and forget the points, which leaves me with a very bad impression.
