yeah except this wouldn't work with my best friend who has a hispanic surname (marriage) and is as Midwestern Anglo as they come. (though she does speak fluent spanish due to time in the Peace Corps - which she used to her advantage when people don't expect her to understand what they're saying about her)

Don't make assumptions about people's backgrounds due to name, age, hair color etc...
