The only airport I can remember even looking to see what was in the baggie and what wasn't is Kansas City. They are much stricter on the issue here than most of the TSA airports (yes, we're one of the ones with private screeners). Having said that I don't put my solid deoderant in the bag and they never make mention of it.

All other airports I use except maybe one of two don't require removal of the baggie from your carry on during screening. Heck at Miami I even forgot about a 3/4 full bottle of water in the bottom of my bag, it didn't raise any eyebrows surprisingly.
