Bizarre. I'm not sure if she was untrained or just a sadist. Worst experience I've had going through security since I was injured six months ago and I've been through security at least twice a week. My pain level was down - until today.
Sounds like a sadist to me.

She had no business even touching your cast. Did you file a complaint? If not, I would suggest you do so immediately, giving the full details of your screening so that this person can be identified. Send a copy to airport management, the airline on which you travel as well as the head TSA honcho at IAH.

Since you indicate that you travel frequently, could you ID her if you saw her again? If so, file an amendment to your complaint giving her name and badge number
