And what makes you think that you'll actually see that bottle of Shampoo in the bathroom even if you tell them in advance how many of people are staying with you? Usually, its one bottle of everything per bathroom. And I've been to plenty of FS Marriott's where they won't even restock the basic 4 (Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion and Mouthwash) if they see a partially used bottle still left. And I love the mouthwash once or twice per day.

I still don't get it. My experiences (and gut) don't lead me to believe its staffing, safety or incremental costs but just an other way to add revenue. Otherwise there would be more enforcement at check-in.

Anyone who goes through the discomfort of having more than 2 adults in a room AND PAYS extra for the privilege is a fool. An all inclusive meals included resort is one thing but an overcrowded plain vanilla hotel room is another.

I also think its a way of trying to convince you to take another room...
