The only problem with parking the car in Queens will be getting it out of Queens. You have to sit through the Queens tunnel, then again thru Holland / Lincoln tunnel if you're heading to Jersey. I'd say park the car in NJ, and ride the PATH train over. Much cheaper, much faster.
