When I fly KA from HKG, would I prefer the KA lounge or the WIng/Pier? I would definitely go to the Wing/Pier. The KA lounge is very good indeed, but not when compare with the CX lounges. There were discussions that DM can use the CX F lounge, but I have not done that yet, because I thought the official policy is CX J lounge only when a DM is flying KA until KA is part of OW.

However, when KA joins OW, will all normal KA lounge users go to the CX lounges? The current CX J lounges are sometimes quite crowded. It may not affect me very much, but is still a concern (I still sometimes take MU or CA). Upgrading the KA lounge is a good idea, even though there is not enough space for both F and J lounges.
