I unfortunately missed a flight (SCL-IPC) on my AONE5 ticket and due to completely booked planes on this route I was unable to reschedule it within the next week. This had implications for the next 5 or so segments and so I decided to return to do the Easter Island and following segments in June. After missing the flight, I immediately phoned the AA RTW desk and asked them to make this segment and the next 5 segments open dated with the plan to fix June dates next month. To check up a couple of days later, I have just gone on-line and found that instead of making these segments open dated, all of them have been completely eliminated from my itinerary on AA.com. Currently being in the Atacama I won´t have phone access until returning to Santiago later in the week. In the mean time, my question is whether this is going to be an easy matter to deal with. Also, I have been assuming that I can fly the SCL-IPC segment later even though I did not notify AA RTW desk about this until the missed plane had taken off. Thanks for any advice.
