Echo taking the Airport Express. About $30 RT and only one stop; a very plesant ride.

There is a central park that pretty much runs the length, East to West of central Oslo. The Royal Castle sits at the West end, the Grand Hotel pretty much at the East end, and the National Theater in the middle.

If you have a lot of bags and don't want to walk the three or four blocks then go to the South side of the park from the National Theater to catch a cab and the traffic heading back to the East and the Grand Hotel.

Depending on time I would definitely try to catch [1] the Munch Museum, [2] the Vigeland Sculpture Park [3] the view from the Olympic Ski Tower [4] the Viking Ship Museum and [5] the new Nobel Center.
