Sgt Glover of the Nashville airport police (not TSA) had been told to expect Gore's arrival, and was waiting for him at the checkpoint. After he noticed him in the sterile area it became apparent that a breach had occured.
Sorry to deny you that tall drink of TSA Hateraid, but this was clearly the fault of the AA agent that took the former VP down the elevator and through the employee entrance.
Why does an AA employee have access to a secure elevator? If the "security" is that important shouldn't the airline employees have to go through security? Oh I'm sorry maybe it hasn't been enough time since 9/11 for the idiots to figure that out.
