FWIW and a bit OT - I was in the BNE QP this morning for the 615 to Melbourne. I was switching FF programs (I know its not the Dave Noble way to do this at the service desk, but I'm a slow learner

) and the very helpful agent informed me that he is seeing more and more of QF folk crediting to AA... I told him I haven't credited to QF in over a year IIRC (unless it is a N class). He even quizzed me on what fare classes are OK to use for AA crediting.
He asked me if there was really that much difference in the programs. I told him to check out FT and that for my situation, it is miles (or points ahead for me to credit AA.
Interesting to note his attitude about changing my FF number - very helpful as opposed to a few weeks ago in MEL when the agent informed that she was not allowed to do this - I would have to have this done on the phone with reservations!! She eventually did the change, albiet on as a goodwill gesture (the QP was near deserted).
