Huh? The Maldives are $$$. How can one get two people for two weeks for about $10k?

The "South Pacific" is a bit broad to dismiss it like that. French Poly. is a bit too expensive for the budget, but there are plenty of nice (and not snobby) destinations around (I know the Cooks, but there's also Vanuatu, Samoa, etc. etc.)
