I've noticed this too, actually. A few weeks ago, flying ORD-LGA, I got to talking with my seatmate who, it turned out, was UGS. Long story short, she barely makes 1P, and didn't even fly UA until the middle of last year. But, to paraphrase her words, "my company gets UGS." I didn't press whether that meant her company had a
handful of UGS cards to hand out or if
everyone got the benefits. She wasn't aware of many UGS benefits.
