I have a silly question...

if I have a DONEx that was ticketed by AA, and is electronic, and partway through I want to make changes, can I just call AA on the phone in the US and have them handle it (even if it was ticketed by, say, AA in DEL?). I understand they'll collect the fee (and I'm not trying to get around that) but it's not clear to me if that's true...and I hate to assume.

With the NW/KL RTW's I could always just call the US -- but I never ticketed one except ex-USA because they were reasonable enough in price a couple of years ago ($6,000 for 25,000 miles).
