We always used Avistar. They have a frequent renters program, even if you don't rent frequently, that gives good discounts, indoor parking and free car washes. Their prices are competitive with all the others around. My friends stay at the Holiday Inn and leave their car there. This is a good option if you are flying early in the AM since EWR really backs up in the morning.
Since Avistar is in Newark (city limits) they charge tax while those places in Elizabeth dont, so ABC is $9 a day thats the final rate. Avistar is more and thats before the tax. which over a number of days adds up.
