Indeed, so consider getting another OW airline to do the reissue - then it will only cost you $125, unless it is QF (or CX in HKG (only so far I believe)) who also charge service fees. AA is probably a good bet, but they'll probably only do it if you have sectors still to fly with them. AA has the additional advantage that, reputedly, they are less likely to charge you for any fuel taxes that have increased since you did the original issue.
