I can't imagine the CO inflight services group has enough time on their hands to go through each movie and check-off a list of words to dub out. I think they rely on their outside vendor to supply inflight entertainment that meets set standards and criteria.

I think our wrath should be targeted at this vendor - there is absolutely no possible reason I can think of for censoring the word "God" in this context. If our society has become so prissy that we cannot use the word "God" within a privately funded and distributed form of entertainment, then we are really all nuts.

There are really so many more things that people could and should get bent out of shape about (global warming, war and conflict, poverty, disease, etc.); to put all this effort into where the word God appears or how to wish someone a happy holiday or what kind of decorations are appropriate and non-threatening is really silly.

I had the name of the inflight entertainment vendor before, when I went looking for a copy of the Hawaii boarding video, but I can't seem to find it now. Perhaps someone knows who they are and we can inquire what their thinking was to censor this word?
