When you're traveling in Europe and another man winks at you, how do you interpret it? I've been winked at in many countries but I'm never sure how to take it. Of course much of this depends on what country you're in, a wink from a guy in Greece could mean something completely different than a wink from a Danish guy, who knows.

My parents kind of taught me that people who wink are dishonest, they're trying to gain your confidence in order to take advantage of you, but I've come to realize that's usually not the case.
