To me, the miles are just another tool to get more places.
Love to travel. Want to travel. Need to travel. (And yes, I'm fully aware of what those mean).
Plan on using my Plat status to it's max this year. '06 was about the journey being as much as about the destination. '07 will have a bit more emphasis about the destination. But you gotta pay your dues, before you can enjoy your membership...

I've yet to find anywhere I want to go in the next 2 months to Europe where I can get a WBC seat for 100K that could be used as a vacation. (Excluding Tuesday flights of course)

It's interesting, as most people pick their destination, then deal with the milage. I'd like nwa.com to let you pick the milage, then have them offer you the destinations. For instance, put in your times and milage, then have it come back with all the available seats to any destination. Would be very cool on a Thursday night to say "25k miles, out Fri 7pm, back Sun 4pm", and have it display the list of all routes that support that criteria. Would even pay for that feature for Europe, if you could put in your milage, and have it return all possibilities based on time. Granted, you have to have some major flexibility, but what a way to travel.
Hmmm... I'll have to write some code to deal with that one...
