Lets do it again in 07
2007 Elite Qualifying Miles 0
2006 Elite Qualifying Miles 189,480
There it is, the most depresing stat of the year. If my calculations are correct I should see 34,556 EQM by the end of Jan.
FT New years resolutions:
1. Actually use some miles for a loooong vacation! I am going to HNL up front on the 333 this spring and that is the first award ticket I have used for myself in years (I usually give them away to f+f).
2. Meet a few FT'ers in my travels
3. Get at least one Trans-pac Op-up.
4. Get on a few partner airlines to sample thier J products.
5. Better manage my milage collection through non-flight activity. I am horrible at earning miles at anything other than air travel.
6. Get a few of my knucklehead coleages to start flying smart. If I had all of the miles that they waste by not being in a loyalty program....
Lets hope the labor issues at NWA come to a good conclusion. The FA's are supposedly back in talks and NW has an opportunity to get back on track with a little give and take. The AL business is tough but some performance based incentives (stock/profit sharing/etc) could be used to get the company united and moving forward to a healthy recovery.
Good luck to all and have a happy, safe, and active 2007!
