Could you elaborate on that? I looked at the website and while it looks certainly nice and interesting, I'm not sure what makes it so wonderful. Is it the natural surroundings?

The Huka Lodge really isn't what I'm after on this trip, nor do I have a personal entourage to accomodate. But I'll file it away for future reference.

Do you have any experience of the service they provide there?

On the more general point of my initial query, it looks like I can go to Thailand after all with my passport issues, but Indonesia is out. I was really keen to try some of the resorts there, but there's always next year (and a fresh passport).
