I completely agree with you, we had a mini break just after our wedding. After all the stress of moving country and being plunged head first into wedding preparations spanning three countries, my husand got really ill (happens a lot when you finally get to relax after months of stress).

Absolutely! So, 6 months after our wedding we're going on our 'real' honeymoon. Departing Monday to Ontario.
We're travelling business class (at what is effectively less than the price of an economy ticket and 18,500 miles each for a guaranteed upgrade both ways... bargain! Thanks FT!!!).
cabin rental for a week at a great rate and a couple of nights in a forest lodge
a week at the King Edward at another great rate thanks to Hotwire
and a side trip to Niagara Falls.

I'm delighted you enjoyed your honeymoon, winbornstephanie. I'm pretty sure I'll love mine just as much .
