Complaining for miles!?!
I would presume this has happened to plenty of people, but on a flight last month to Germany with NWA, I experienced a series of shall we say adventures.
This ranged from a 90-minute never explained, then "announced" 45 minutes into the waiting delay, delayed luggage, inattentive service, ineptitude on the part of the people in charge of delayed luggage, etc...
In any case, my complaint generated 6,000 bonus miles to my WP account, which seems not too bad. (Although it would perhaps make more business sense to treat customers properly in the first place, I guess this will do.)
