Hello,

I'm curious if anyone knows whether airport security, particularly in Canada, will look for serial numbers or other similar identification on a laptop computer? I'm flying on Friday within Canada- from western Canada to eastern Canada, and have not yet taken this laptop with me on a flight.
Reason I ask is because my laptop is refurbished, but it does not have a serial number sticker on it. So I'm concerned whether security might spot this and begin interrogating me about it, or whether I should bring along whatever documentation I have from the purchase of the laptop just in-case.
I don't fly very often- so I thought I would pose the question in a forum with people that likely fly considerably more than I do, and what their experiences with laptops and airport security, again, particularly within Canada, has been.
