I have never had an issue with the P-Club when traveling NRSA, however this past weekend I visited the CRC in SAN it wasnt so easy. I was on a paid ticket and have a paid membership to the P-Club. I usually carry my company ID rather than pulling out my driver's license. When I showed it to the CRC agent she said that employees are not allowed to use their lounges, especially when flying non-rev. I tried to explain I was on a paid ticket and had a paid membership but her response was "if we let all employees in this place would be too busy." At that point I pulled out my driver's license and the issue was mute. They said CRC's rules regarding employee use are different than P-Club rules. That may be the case but I just thought I would give a heads up to anyone that may attempt to use a CRC to show your driver's license/passport rather than a company id.
I was very shocked when I was turned away by the MCO CRC as a P-Club member flying NRSA on DL. I had used a few CRCs prior to that, including times I was NRSA on America West and I was welcomed in. I have never had problems using a Board Room or World Club as a P-Club member flying NRSA on those respective airlines . I was given the same speech about Delta's rules regarding employee membership. I found some employee P-Club information on shares, and it warned about other airline clubs for employees, regardless of a paid membership.
