good wine MUST be served in GLASS (or stone)! and that's not only because of "how it looks like". I thought that even my colleagues in the US learned that in the past years - as they learned to stop asking for ice-cubs in the best bordeaux or napa-valley wines ... (sorry - happened during my first US-trip about 35 years ago).

other materials, like paper, carton, pet, etc. will (laboratory-proven) influence the taste, without any delay.

Already your lips/tongue expectations are mislead, if they touch other stuff than glass before tasting the wine! And - think of kissing - this matters (and influences the following enjoyments ...).

(one exception: you can "STORE" ready-to-drink wine in "Tetra Pak", like milk - 80% of Spains ready-to-drink wine are packaged that way).
