About the only "touristy" thing open in Seward this time of year is the Sealife Center (
http://www.alaskasealife.org/ ). Otherwise, the drinking works to occupy time until it's time to go fishing again.
Seward is a very different place during the summer, when the cruise ships are calling, the boat trips and railroad are running, the fishing is peaking, Exit Glacier becomes a nice hike again, 10,000+ people swarm in for the 4th of July festivities, etc, etc. However during the winter the place is just dead.
