Well I rented a 2wd Taurus and there was NO concern whatsoever. But where I am from if you had snow it would be a lot more dangerous. This snow is just way to easy to drive on. Portage was socked in but the wildlife park was worth the trip. Got a good bowl of chili at the Portage Glacier Lodge. Lots of Bald Eagles out on the road to Portage Glacier. All roads to all glaciers were closed. Seward is a wasted trip as there is NOTHING to do there except drink and unless I missed a hidden gem, it would drive you to drink. The air museum is small but the films are good. My son loved the simulator. Lots of places to go and take photos and Kincaid was probably one of the best places. For a/c watching you could not beat it. The ULU factory and the Berry place with the "chocolate" waterfall are real tourist traps. There is definetly alot to do but you need time to drive out to it. I could spend weeks taking photos here. Now for the LOOONGGG flight home. Oh someone needs to wake up and realize if flights are coming and going between 11 and 2 at night, they should keep a airline club open, that would be real helpful.
