TB elections got me thinking as to whether there could be a Do toolkit / tips and suggestions set up somewhere to help Do organisers run their do's more smoothly?
Jenbel has more experience of FT Dos in her little finger than I do in my whole body, but even I realise there are lots of aspects which would be easier getting tips or using tools others have, than reinventing the wheel. A toolkit would also make it easier to make sure don't leave anything important out (like the time we meet

).
Some examples, I am sure there are lots more.
- what software handles any payments easily
- free maps for directions to venues and how to easily customise
- FT logo for printouts
- spreadsheet sample for managing the information going out and received (who did you send which message to and when, when did they sign up, etc)
- the value of having a backup venue when you find out a week beforehand someone is allergic
Perhaps this is something best placed on the FT wiki?
