I follow Olympic rules with Trip Advisor--throw out the top and bottom reviews and look at everything else. Look for details. It you hate hard beds and that is an item in a review or more than one review, take care. Having a review does not take away from the fact that eveyone should do their research when looking for a hotel. Trip Advisor is only one tool on the web--but it can be a useful tool.
