D'oh! I just checked the QFF rules and it says that you earn points as long as the ticket has a flight number of QF or any OW airline, subject to a list of conditions - none of which mention codeshares being an exception. Then you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the rules, and then it does mention the codeshares as exceptions in the OW airline tables. Very sneaky, Qantas.
Oh well, the price is too good to worry about a few points
