Well I experience some of the same issues as the OP except that i'm flying on upgraded Y tickets ;-)

I usually get odd looks (i'm 20.. and look it) but I always dress business casual or preppy casual (Abercrombie style clothes). Always served my Mojitos though and usually the FA's are nice (sometime the other pax are disdainful)
