Just on the news last night... All but Park Place hotels in VEgas have dropped the surcharge.

Here's the kicker for us locals. Since 2000, Nevada Power has raised rates about 180%. They are currently asking for another rate increase! They made a couple of bad deals w/ California durring the power crunch and now want to stick us locals for the lost revenue.
