They said (under the old QF rules) that it was British and therefore part of Britain. That meant a 100,000 point ticket whereas my logic said it was Sth America and hence a 40,000 point ticket. Interesting! So by those rules, I could have flown from HEL to Stanley on an Intra-European award (is it 20K on QF?). Might actually have made such a trip had I known about this.
