Unfortunately, we had forgotten to call before the first time we walked over to the Embassy, only to find that they were only open between 8 and 11 for customers, so we had to go back the following business day. It worked out OK. The walk took us through an interesting part of the city which we otherwise would not have seen. We were amused that the concierge insisted that it was way too far to walk (it was about two miles at the most), and insisted that we take a taxi. We just love walking in new cities. You miss so much in taxis.
