Staying at Grand Cayman Ritz next week with a small group (business group, but all fun). Have guaranteed oceanfront room. As Marriott plat elite, is there any point to requesting an upgrade for larger room, better location, etc based on Marriott status? Also, for our nights that are not master-billed, can I get Marriott point credit? Not sure what the Marriott-Ritz partnership means, and it seems to mean different things at different properties.
