AMS Connection Question
With the kid doing a year abroad in Scotland, I am searching for reasonable alternatives between EDI and BOS. I just did the trip via DL and ATL, and truthfully, I felt that many hours were added to the trip. If I were the book my daughter EDI-AMS-BOS, which looks like about a 1+20 connection or thereabouts, what is involved in the connection? Can the transit be done without passing through passport control and/or security? Does KLM in EDI give you the boarding pass for the NW AMS-BOS flight? I assume that luggage is checked through to BOS.
