Prompting another question:

What is the difference between "good" and "bad" F on JAL?

I have seen what you mean about the lack of availability of F into BKK - CX offers it, but only if I want to go to HongKong first. I can't see the point of that stopover, so I think I'm going to have to stick to JAL.
