I know it is OT but how / why are some of these allocated that does not tie in easily as an acronym to the airlines name?. Ones such as BA, AC, AA, AF etc make perfect sense but WN for Southwest, U2 for Easyjet, VS for Virgin and FR for Ryanair seem designed to make life more complicated than it needs to be
