I don't even know if this is feasible, technically/technologically/legally possible, or something you want to spend time on.

But the DL5191 incident got me thinking (and I PMed a very helpful mod about this)... should FT have a way for members, should they want to, register their real names in case something should happen to one of us? It would help confirm whether or not a member was involved, and at least give everyone the knowledge of such.

What I'm thinking of is providing our real names, have this info accessible only to appropriate FT management in case of incidents like DL5191, and giving FT our explicit permission to inform the forum in case of involvement (upon confirmation, of course).
