Actually, in my experience, for me the problem lies usually with LH's system, who:

1. Sometimes cannot recoqnize a UA*G or *S (only as frequent fliers, with no *A tiers) - and couldn't care less either...

2. Cannot recognize SK EuroBonus numbers, so they enter the SK FF numbers as M&M numbers, and others get credit for our flights!

Everyone should fly more SQ!
