There is a travel show hosted by chef Anthiny Bourdain. Typically, it is a look at the side of cities that are not touristy. He was filming in Beirut when the bombing started. I have no idea what to expect, but it should at a minimum give a good look at Beirut and maybe some insight into the begining of the war.
