First, I am not saying that I just want to discuss other facts, I am brining this up because if it is true, then it is an internal AND external problem, completly changing the investigation.

Second, I cannot quote the exact source because clearly this was inside information, however of course there were leaks, and I also saw it on CNN. Once I saw it I felt comfortable enough to post.

Third, I do not think that scanning will stop everything, but who does it hurt to scan airport employees and cataloge their potential weapons, such as box cutters, knives, etc. I am not saying that they should not have them, but I think they should be registered per gate, and be located before the closing of doors.
